Hi Everybody I'm new here, I was trying to get some tips on how to go natural because I have been wanting to try it for a while now. I stopped putting perms in my hair like 5 months before I found out I was pregnant. So I haven't had a perm in a long time I just been washing it and getting it braided,and doing sewn in weaves and my hair has grown alot since I stopped using perms. Well now I want to see about going natural can anybody give me some tips and ideas about going natural.

I posted my story on Lecia's "Going Natural" right before yours- I see your a few months into a transition state, so you don't sound like you will have to go quite as short as I did.....there are so many options for short natural hair on you tube, and some of the member photos here......you're welcome to read my story and I hope it may help you a little, but I do feel since I have gone natural, my hair is a lot healthier, it does require maintancence and care, but it is so easy to do a quick fix and go or rock a quick fro with a head band....there are a lot more options than I realized. the first step is to make sure it is what you want to do , but one thing I feel in my heart is that it was a healthy hair choice for me, and I love it!!
