Crissy

Hello all. I went on a hair product shopping haul today and picked up a few goodies :-) I decided to try out some new Products just to start getting ideas of what works with my hair type and what works against it. I'm sure once I am 100% natural these products will have somewhat of a different effect.

I decided to go with Cantu Products because I hear they work really well and I agree with all the ingredients included in them. I got the Moisturizing cream shampoo and the moisturizing rinse out conditioner, The Shea Butter leave in conditioning repair cream and the hair pomade. I also picked up Organics Herbal Thick Maximum strenght Hair Vitalizer. My mom uses this product so I've experimented with it before and was satisfied (on permed hair) so I will give it a try.

There was a few other products I wanted to pick up as well but I was a little skeptical due to the whole "alcohol is evil" thing. So of course I pulled out my handy dandy G1 and tried to google the alcohols that are hair friendly but my internet connection was jacked up (thanks t-mobile!) so I just left the products on the shelf and made a note of the alcohols that I noticed in a lot of the products.

After coming home & googling Ceteryl, Cetyl, and Stearyl Alcohol I realized that they are NOT to be feared. These are considered Fatty alcohols and are not bad. check out this link for more info.

Also I am intrested in knowing what are some of your favorite hair goodies?? shampoos, creams, conditioners, etc.  I look foward to hearing from you all!

Stay Tuned!

They should add a gel to their hairlines, b/c their (individual lines) products usually work well together....Keep me posted- meanwhile I was thinkin of tryin Carol's daughter to see if they have a gel in their line (Trying to maintain the shine with the curly du)
