hello there...i really need to find a good hair butter or oil to moisturize and soften my hair. i hear a lot of good things about shea butter and coconut oil but i haven't the slightest idea where to even look for the stuff or what brand is best for my 4a type hair. any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated

Wal mart has coconut oil in the vitamin department. I have found shea butter at a african store. it takes some research if you want to do it locally but if you can you always order off of amazon.com or even ebay.com good luck!

I love the cantu shea butter line- I've left it and tried some other products but have gone back again and again- I know that those products can be purchased at target or wal-mart

I use Hummingbird Hair products. Its a botanical line for natural hair. Their Platinum Shine Botanical Oil has coconut oil. It penetrates the strands and gives hair a great shine. I use it for everything- on my ends, hot oil treatment, etc. They also have a hair butter with shea that I love called SheKui Butter
