I just did the big chop 1/2 an hour ago. I thought i would feel alot more sad and uneasy about it but im not. i'm happy i finally had the nerve to do it

I feel you Algeria...I definitely remember the feeling of empowerment...it's amazing- like a freedom (I believe it's the freedom from societies expectations).....Congrats!!!!!

Bc 02/06/2010 almost a month soon :) I cant describe the feeling but its somewhere along the lines of empowered and liberated Yes!

Hello all, I'm new to the community and I just wanted to share with everyone that I did my big chop on 9/24/09. This is not the first time for me. I did go natural in 2007, stayed natural for 6months and went back to a relaxer. So at the beginning of 09' I started thinking about it again. I transtitioned for 3months and I took the plunge.. I'm so happy to be back on the napptural side of things. I really missed having my lil curlies. It feels good to be happy with what God gave me. TTYL! Peace & Love!!!
