Some of my favs
I got these recipes off of Motwongirl's site so I can't take credit for them but I use them and sometimes I add a little of this or take away a little of that... it depends on how my hair is acting...
Scalp Scrub
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp conditioner ( I use Suave Lavender)
1-2 drops lavendar oil (I added this)
Apply to damp scalp and use as exfoliate. Rinse well.
I like this because you get the ultra soft hair plus it really does feel great on the scalp.
Honey Olive Oil Conditioner
3 tsp of honey
1/4 c of olive oil
Heat honey in microwave and mix in oil. Work small amount into hair until coated. Cover and leave for at least 30 min. Shampoo and rinse well.
-Now, at night I put on the shower cap that I sit in because it's coated in the olive oil and then I put my silk scarf on. In the morning, my hair is hydrated without being extremely oily. Because I have the driest hair- and scalp- on the planet. So, this is great.
And then I always do the 1 tbsp baking soda and 1-2 cups of water to wash and the ACV rinse.

I've used the scalp scrub. I needed more so I used 3tbsp brown sugar and I didn't measure the conditioner. I just used enough to make it paste-like. I also added a few drops of tea tree oil. I think I'll add lavender oil to it next time as well. I prefer using it on a dry scalp. It feels like I get a better scrub that way. I also used an old toothbrush to apply it which worked great. You just have to be careful with that because I overscrubbed in a couple of places.
